July 6th 2008, my baptism day.

I have died to sin, but have found life in God. I am not my own, I was bought with a price, I was purchased with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

My wonderful church, Seaside Community Baptist Church, had our one year anniversary(July 1st) with a weekend celebration, Saturday was a free community BBQ and Sunday was our churches first baptism! There were about 15 people that decided to be baptized, and I was one of them.

After being saved at a young age and a long time spent growing up in Baptist church I finally felt the call to be baptized. I have had many opportunities to do so, but I am glad that I waited until now. I have a solid understating of baptism and my heart is in the right place. I took this very seriously, it is up there with the importance of my wedding day and the day I will die. Which is beautiful because I felt like a bride on her wedding day I was so excited, and at the same time I felt like it was the end of my life, because it was the beginning of a new life. Im so glad I have a deeper level of relationship with my Lord.
